STAMPEDE CARES HOSTS FIRST EVER BLOOD DRIVE

Stampede Cares, community outreach committee, is at it again with their continual efforts to give back.  This time around, they have partnered with Vitalant to host the first ever Stampede Cares Blood Drive!

Today, Stampede employees in the Chicagoland area volunteered to donate blood.  Vitalant stationed their blood mobile outside the Bridgeview, IL office.  Many donors signed up in advance for various time slots, and even more volunteers chose to walk-in and donate.  Stampede Research and Development Technician, Vincent Edwards said, “It was my first time every donating blood, but I thought it was a great idea for the cause.  Also, you can’t pass up free snacks!”

With Stampede’s continual growth and dynamic daily operations, it’s important that the Stampede Cares committee continues to host events throughout the year.   This gives team members an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.  Carisis Martinez, Stampede Sales and Marketing Associate shared, “The committee was persistent in pushing me to volunteer! I must admit I was extremely nervous, and it took some convincing, but I’m glad I chose to donate to this cause.  One donation can save up to three lives and with over 30 volunteers today, our team is truly making an impact.”

Next on the event list, Stampede Cares is hosting the biannual Stampede Cares Olympic Games in May!
